Production journey for ident

  What I have done from week one is I have got the ident prototypes that I will be using in case I needed any extra, so I made a card for the ident so when Simona receives the card from the door it has the show "love island" written on it and this allows the audience +to know that this tv ident is from the show "love island".  when I first tried to record it, it did take a bit of time only because I had to find someone to be comfortable enough to let their face be in the camera and luckily Simona volunteered to be in my ident so that was a huge help. Shortly we started filming the following week and it did take quite a while as we all kept laughing and half the times, I had to help Khairun with her ident as well, so I was in the cupboard with balloons around me. Even with all of that going on I manged to finish my ident last week and I started to make my rushes log of the videos I am going to use and the ones that will be discarded and doing this just lets me know w

 what did I do?  lst week i started my rushes log and i put all the clips together for my rough drafts and then i did the rushes log to see which clips i used and the ones i need to delete but it isnt finished. this week the rushes log needs to be finished and i need to sort out my videos in order 

Production week 2

  Production Week 2   What did I do? So last week I had an attempt of filming my ident and it did take a little while as I had to create my card but we got there in the end. There were also a lot of bloopers as we kept laughing and Simona forgot her lines but we got there in the end.  This week i am going to film my first ident properly with no mistakes and then get audience feedback from people, ill also need to get a rushes log done and try and create the first edited version of my ident.

Reflection

  Production Week 1  What did I do? So last week I printed out my confetti design that I needed to stick on to in my card as my previous idea wasnt very stable so I chose a show to relate my ident to and I chose Love Island.  I also got a golden confetti given to me by my teacher to help with my ident.  This week: I will need to find a suitable copyright song for my ident and I will need to make a card for the ident after this is should be able to film my first 30 second ident.

Contingency

 I will be filming in school as well as filming at home and I will be borrowing equipment with the permission from the school so that i am allowed to take equipment home. My backup location when I can't film in the classroom would be my house with the other person, I am using in my ident e.g., Simona  The props I will be using is a camera with the tripod, notebooks, mobile phone and glowsticks then I will use final cut pro to edit If simona cant do the voiceover then my backup person will be khairun who will replace simona

work plan

My aim is to finish my two 30 second idents, I will need to use my time wisely to get the most out of my work and make it up to my standards, I have been given my lesson time to also record so i will be making the most of it to make sure I film the key parts of my ident. When I get to my editing stage, I will need to find copyright free music and some sound effects to help me make this ident. Week 1: getting all the equipment and props ready to film, i will be making the ITV 2 cut out confetti and I will be putting them inside a book before i record and while I'm recording, I'm going to be flicking through the notebook and then "accidentally" drop it so all the itv 2 confetti comes out Week 2:  getting the glowsticks and turning it into ITV 2 logo Week 3: putting all my work inside final cut pro to edit Week 4: complete ident and receive audience feedback Week 5: use the feedback to make my changes that are needed Week 6: evaluation  Week 7: finish off unfinished task

 This tv ident will be released next year and this is because ITV 2 has had the same ident for many years so this would be nice to change it up a little bit and bring them something new so that they can attract the audience as this to ident will be fun and entertaining for them to watch when they wait for their next programme to start.

Treatment

 Freeview has approached me to "refresh" the ident cycle in one of their channels as they are trying to remind people about their channels that they offer, an example of this would be food network. This ident will need to have a clear message to have at least a good reflect on the channel for the audience as well as for the content it would be showing. The purpose for this ident is to present one of the chosen channels that is selected on Freeview and in my ident I will need to reflect my ideas on the channels personality towards the audience and so that it gets more views to the channel. For my ident I chose ITV 2  as it has always been fun and entertaining to watch their idents for example their tea spilling on the cups and then there was an actual dog in a hotdog bun. there would be a girl who is reading a book and at the end of each book or even on the cover you will have the ITV 2  sign appearing in multiple colours so it catches the audiences attention.   History of ITV 2 idents  ITV 2 is a TV channel that is aired in the United Kingdom in December 7th 1998 and the tv ident is there mainly because of pure entertainment for a few seconds for the audience to see before they get back to their show for example "Family Guy" they had their participation with ITV 2 ident and not too long ago in 2015 in August ITV 2 have been creating new idents with different shows on their channel. ITV 2 idents used to have specific programmes in them like here in  this screen grab of 2006 there is a programme that they have put in the  back ground of their ident with the old itv 2 channel logo

Conventions of an ident - P2

 Here we can see that the ITV 2 Idents have a logo for your channel as well as having your channels name and this is there so that the audience know or have a reminder of what channel it is that they are watching. Also for ITV 2 their ident has their name in the left hand side of the ident when they show it on tv and there ident usually lasts for a couple of seconds so that its getting the audiences attention so that they can keep on watching their show. However along with this tv idents also take breaks as there will usually be a voiceover with music or without and what this does is it explains to the audience on what they are about to be watching next. On ITV 2 they had voiceovers with the channels name so people are aware of what channel it is that they are watching and here is an example , " ANT & DECS Saturday night takeaway" which I personally think is very fun to watch and this just gives the audience something to look forward to when these adverts play on.

  ITV 2  ITV 2 Shows programmed that are similar to reality TV shows for example a comedy show would be “bad chefs” which is a adult humour show as well as bobs burgers , this is because ITV target audiences is mainly for people who are 16+ and above 20 because some shows on ITV can have dark humour and the dating programmes aren’t really appropriate for kids under the ages of 16 to be watching and people above these age ranges can’t really watch dark humour if they find it offensive in any way. ITV personality is really bubbly and enjoyable so some of their shows are aimed for younger generation of kids and their ident is very bright as it uses bold colours to make it stand out to the audience. As you can see here we have  jam jars full of jam inside which looks really delicious to the audience and this could be because they have been watching any cooking or eating shows and this is there because ITV 2 is very modern and a lot of people can relate to what they see on here so it keeps

Music Promo video    Here this is a music video of   Ariana grande "into you"  and what this video has done it has created an entertainment purpose as its very catchy and his song first went viral on tiktok as many tiktokers were dancing to this song as well as the influencers. this song allows the audience who are interested in his music to sing along and dance to it aswell and it just creates a fun atmosphere for the kids and teenagers to just vibe to when they are either doing an activities or just relaxing. 90% of people have heard of her songs and most of her audiences are females or as she says "pre- pubescent girls" 50% of girls are between the ages of 11 and 16 who listen to her songs and there are alt of millennials who listen to her because of her two recent songs  she released called " sweetener" and "thank you , next". she has become very popular because she also used to be on a teens/subteens tv show called "victorious"  Th

Defining Audio Visual Promos (P1)

An audio visual promo is an electronic media that possesses both sound and a visual component suhc as a slide- tape oresentation, film , television programmes or a live theatre production. They provide information to the target audience by regarding the final product , this can include the key actors, artists, or bands. There may also be clues to some elements of the narrative or gameplay or music. Usually there will be the inclusion of aa launch date so that the audience are prepared for the release of the new product. for example victor frankenstien the trailer was released by the 20th century fox .   There are different types of promos such as music promo, game promo or even an animation promo.  Information - audio visuals are used for  providing information for the audience about the final product. MUSIC PROMO  A Music promo is a short audio visual representation that is constructed to accompany a song released by a solo artist or a band. GAME PROMO  A game promo is a contest , ga
