Analysis and application of findings

 FEEDBACK I WILL ACT ON:  When Khiaurn and simona said that the chosen music didn’t fit the ident this will make the audience unsure about what’s supposed to happen and the ident will not be fit for purpose. When Miss told me to add some clips from the show i was going to use so then the audience are aware that this ident is for the show “love island” and it will keep them more engaged as they will also find it a bit funny seeing random love island clips popping up. Khairun and simona both told me to try and use transitions on the sharp cut outs on the clips as it did look a bit untidy and it didn’t go with the flow like it should have so i added transitions to blend the jump cuts together. FEEDBACK I WILL NOT ACT ON: The feedback that i will not act on is when simona said that she didn’t like how she acted out in some parts because that means my ident will be delayed and not finished in time and there could be more mistakes made if i do it again than how i did it before so to stay in

Post production report for Ident

 Post production process- I edited all my shots using final cut pro on the Imac and then I uploaded it to youtube and took in any feedback that I got from my audience that have watched my ident. From the feedback I have gained I worked upon it and made sure that I looked over any details my audience told me to add in and take out so then my ident can be complete and uploaded onto youtube to be assessed. Edits and Transitions - In this ident I haven’t added man6 transitions to it as it wasn’t needed, I only cut out some bits from my clips as they had background noises and sounds of all my friends laughing which was not needed. There were scene from the Love Island show that I pasted into the ident just to make it look more relatable and funny for the audience so they can stay engaged and I think that really turned out well and created a good effect. I added a few transitions towards the end to create a closing effect on the ident which i thought was really cool and my audience loved it

Audience feedback

My audience have given me a mix of opinions on what they think about my ident, Miss Lowndes has told me that it is a good ident however I should add some clips from the Love Island show and put it in maybe in the background just to let the audience know that this ident is from the show and this way it keeps them to stay and continue watching the show. I also showed my ident to Khairun and Simona together and they also said it was really good and when Simona watched it she was quite unhappy with how it turned out but that was only because she was quite shy about watching it again, however in the end she got to like it and she gave me some tips of how to improve it. She told me to add some transitions and Khairun agreed and told me that the music was not fitting so I changed it to more of an upbeat tune. I then went ahead and asked them the strength and weaknesses and both Khairun and Simona have told me that the ident is really good on its own as Simona has strongly acted on her charact

Final ident

  For this ident I have based it around ITV 2 and have connected it with the main show that they always show every summer which was love island. At first, I wasn't going to do this but as I was researching and thinking about some ideas, I came across the show "Love Island" and decided to join them two together to create this TV advert for ITV 2. However, this ident was mainly for ITV 2 and I had just based the ident with clips from love island as this is their most popular show.

Production journey for ident

  What I have done from week one is I have got the ident prototypes that I will be using in case I needed any extra, so I made a card for the ident so when Simona receives the card from the door it has the show "love island" written on it and this allows the audience +to know that this tv ident is from the show "love island".  when I first tried to record it, it did take a bit of time only because I had to find someone to be comfortable enough to let their face be in the camera and luckily Simona volunteered to be in my ident so that was a huge help. Shortly we started filming the following week and it did take quite a while as we all kept laughing and half the times, I had to help Khairun with her ident as well, so I was in the cupboard with balloons around me. Even with all of that going on I manged to finish my ident last week and I started to make my rushes log of the videos I am going to use and the ones that will be discarded and doing this just lets me know w
